What a gracious and lively school mate..I have admired Linda all through life for you see, she was my first puppy-love…She was a perfect example of what ‘Enka High’ Team Spirit was all about. She loved her School and her classmates. She was a good Christian Lady and set an example for us all…She`ll be cheering us on from above…I agree with Bro. Dave, we need to hold each other up in our daily prayers, as we have no promise of tomorrow…
We are so sorry that Linda’s life was cut short by this dreadful disease. She will be missed in Brigadoon by all her neighbors. She was a wonderful person. We always managed to end up at the same restaurant on Sundays! God bless each one of you.
Linda was a very special person who loved life, her family and her many friends. She will definitely be missed. She gave so much to everyone, always.
My Condolances to the family of Linda D. Burleson. Linda and I were class mates at Enka High School, graduating together in 1961. Linda was a dear friend. We all went out separate ways after high school and would only see each other at high school reunions. I have fond memories of our high school days. God bless.
How rare that a class could have a girl who was most beautiful to the eye and also in her spirit-so kind, so joyous, so absolutely delightful. We all have had a richer life because of knowing her. I mourn for her family, but also for all of us that she touched and blessed.
Brother Dave
Linda is an amazing woman. Over the years we have come to love her dearly. We didn’t realize just how much until we found out we were going to lose her. Robert calls her ‘Cool Hand Linda.’ Linda has been made new, and we look forward to spending eternity with her. The choir there got sweeter on August 21. All our love, Robert & Sharon
