Darlene Clemmons Morris

Darlene Clemmons Morris, 73, of 108 N. Ridge Drive, Asheville, died Friday, October 5, 2007, at St. Jospeph Campus. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella Coward Clemmons and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Larry Clemmons. She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church. A loving and wonderful lady, she loved her family dearly. Survivors include her husband, Larry W. Morris; two sons, Charles L. Clemmons of Asheville and Roy L. Clemmons and wife Gail of Hendersonville; sisters, Judy Barnes and Barbara Stills; brothers, Douglas “Mac” Clemmons, Jack G. Clemmons and Charles Clemmons, all of Asheville; one granddaughter, Heather Clemmons Hill and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Reverend David Tucker officiating.
