Carina Newman

Asheville ~ Carina “Connie” Mosler Newman beloved wife and mother died on Wednes-day, October 31, 2007 at Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Harry G. and Martha Mayland Mosler. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry J. Mosler. She is survived by her husband of 58 Years, Dr. James M. Newman of Fletcher; two daughters, Connie N. Hagee and her husband, Eddie of Max Meadows, VA and Barbie Hunter of Asheville; two grandchildren, Kirk and Sally; two great-grandchildren, Linsey and Reed Phillippi; a sister, Martha Weideman of Glen Mills, PA and a brother, William M. Mosler of North Wales, PA. A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday at Calvary Episcopal Church with The Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Canham and Rev. David Sailer officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pug Rescue of NC, PO Box 94 Summerfield, NC 27358.
