Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Carol: You may not remember me but we three girls went to school together and I remember Barbara as your ‘little sister’ and at that time she seemed so much younger than we. She was only one year younger. I guess we wanted to feel old then in the 1961-1965 years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. God Bless you and her family. Linda Johnson Scorsone Class of 65

  2. Chris I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers if you need anything we are here for you…. Blessings Darlene and David Vega

IF YOUR COULD SEE WHERE I HAVE COME

If you could see where I have gone, the beauty of the place
And how it feels to know you’re home, to see the Savior’s face.
To wake in peace and know no fear, just joy beyond compare.
While still on earth you miss me yet, you wouldn’t want me there!

If you could see where I have gone, and made the trip with me,
You’d know I didn’t go alone, the Savior came with me.
When I awoke He was by my side and said, as He touched my hand,
‘Hurry, you’re going home, to a grand and glorious land.’

If you could see where I have gone, and see what I’ve been shown,
You’d never know another fear, or ever feel alone.
You’d marvel at the care of God, His hand on every life.
And realize He really cares, and bears with us each strife.
And that He weeps, weeps when one is lost, His heart is filled with pain.
But Oh! The joy when one comes home, a child at home again.

If you could see where I have gone, could stay a while with me,
Could share the things that God had made, to grace eternity.
But, No, You couldn’t ever leave, once Heaven’s joy you’d known.
You couldn’t bear to walk on Earth’s paths, once Heaven was your home.

If you could see where I have gone, you’d know we’ll meet some day,
And though I’m parted from you now, that I am just away.
And now that I am home with Him, secure in every way,
I’m waiting here at Heaven’s door, to greet you some sweet day.

  3. I worked at Brooks-Howell years ago when Barbara was there. We saw each other a couple of times in the grocery store and she was always the same smiling Barbara. Her kids meant to world to her and she talked of you often. My sincere sympathy, Freda P. Woody

  4. Barbara, You were my very best and dearest friend! We have 18 years of crazy memories, fun, laughter and tears. I will never forget you! Please wait for me by the river!
    Love,
    Christy
