I want to express my deepest condolences. Mike and I served many years together in the Navy Reserves. He was not only a shipmate, he was a friend. I know words can’t express what it means to lose someone you Love. Mike touched many souls during his time with us and his memory will always be with me, the ones he loved and with the ones who served with him. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

It was always a pleasure working with Mike at the Vance School precinct for each election. He was always cheery and pleasant, willing to do what needed to be done. He will be missed.
Sharon and Family,I’m sorry to hear of Mike’s death. I have known him for a long time. Not only did I work with him at the Fire Department, when we were children we also played together a few times when he would visit a cousin of his that lived near where I did. May God bless and comfort you all in the days ahead.
Justin, Green Family,
You have my deepest condolences for your recent loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Green once, but my impression that he was a kind person is solidified by what I have learned of him here. He certainly worked hard to leave his mark in society. I have no doubt that satisfaction of his time with you will be forever immortalized in your hearts, just as the integrity of his character has been ingrained in his children.
To the Green Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Mike. He was a wonderful man. We remember him as being a quiet and caring man who would do anything in the world for you. He will truly be missed. I don’t know the words to say to you for comfort but knowing he died as one of Gods children gives us all hope. You will be in our prayers during this time of great loss. Keep you eyes upward and know he is smiling down upon you all.
Love to you all,
Robbin & Josh

Dear Sharon and Family:
We were so saddened to hear of Mike’s death. We have been in Charlotte for the past week and did not arrive home until Dec. 23. We have had all of you in our prayers and thoughts and will continue to ask that he uphold and strengthen your family. I have many fond memories of Mike at Methodist Men, and also at Naval Reserve. He was a ‘side boy’ at my retirement ceremony.
Mike will be missed.
With Love,

Sharon and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I worked at the Fire Dept with him at St.6 and at headquarters for several years. He truly loved you his family. It is a blessing to me to have known someone like him. I have several memories that are especially funny. Like the morning it snowed several inches and we had a call on Brevard Rd. I was the first female driver he had, he was going to get out of the truck on the way back and walk up Brevard Road, because he did not want to ride up it in the snow with me. I still own and it is still working a microwave oven he sold me.
Sharon and family,
Mike was a wonderful man. I had worked with him at the fire department for several years up until his retirement. He will surely be missed by all of us. You and your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time!
