Aunt Betty didn’t venture out into the world much as her primary role was providing a happy home. She was, however, always anxious for others to bring their world to her in the comfort of her own home. She was always interested in lengthy discussions. She was a generous and fine example of a lady. She will be missed. My love to all in the family. Sissie.

Mr. Bradley, Carl and Wade, your wife and mother was a dear lady who contributed to the good memories of my childhood in Malvern Hills and on Harris Ave. I remember the motherly way she welcomed us kids into her home, fed us, kept us ‘in line’ and let us be who we were. I’m sorry I was not able to share these sentiments with her before she passed, but I know that she rests now in the warmth of God’s love and in the fond memories of all her knew her.
To the Bradley family:
I am so sorry for your loss. If I can be of any help at all, please do hesitate to call on me.
Patricia Smith

Carl, Mary and Lorren,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family now and all the times ahead.
Carl Sr., Carl Jr. and Wade: I am shocked to just now learn of Betty’s passing. Ricky Nantelle told me on Facebook. It’s like a big piece of my childhood is gone too. I’ll never forget her stinking up the back of the house with mustard greens (which I now enjoy) and always offering me a drink or something to eat. She’d practically beg me to sit down and have something.
I remember I was at the house the night I finished high school for good. We had a bad storm, yet she kept me company until my parents came home. Then we got the awful news that the church was on fire, struck by lightning in the storm. That was May 26, 1982. Almost seems like yesterday.
God’s peace…
I wanted to send to you my deepest heartfelt sympathies. May the wings of angels enfold you in your time of sorrow and grief. May our love be shown to you as your love was to us. Your family well always have a place in our hearts.
