Nellie Marie Quinn

Nellie Marie Brock Quinn, 93, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center, near Asheville. She resided in Asheville for the past 8 years with her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Q. and Paul Tyndall. She was born on August 15, 1915 near Seven Springs, NC, where she spent most of her life. A son, Zennie Quinn, Jr. and wife Laine reside in Charleston, SC. She is also survived by four granddaughters: Paula T. Easley (Bob), of Carlisle, PA, Pamela T. Baker (Richard), of Concord, NC, Lisa Marie Quinn, of Charleston, SC, and Katie Q. Clair (Michael), of Charleston; and five great-grandchildren: Rob, Will, and Cayla Easley, and Patrick and Rebecca Baker. The family of Mrs. Quinn sincerely appreciates all of the loving care and kindness given to her by the staff of Pisgah Manor. The funeral service will be held at Garner Funeral Home in Kinston, NC, with burial in the Daly's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, near Seven Springs, NC. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family locally.
