I remember the first day that the children came to Bell’s school. Amy cried harder than the children did. She called us a couple of times that first morning to see if they were still crying. When she came back and saw that they had had a good day and were happy then she was very relieved. As the years went on and Jackson and Jacob and Julia became more relaxed with other children and Amy became more assured that they were going to be fine, she still would call, on occasion when one or another of the children had a difficult separation upon arrival at school. She was so in love with her ‘babies’.
I will keep those children in my prayers. Hendersonville Pediatrics grieves a loss of a mother and knows that this is not easy for the entire family. All our love at the office and our hearts go out for Julie, Jacob and Jackson, may the good Lord hold their tiny hands through this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I pray that Julia, Jackson and Jacob always keep their Mother’s memory in their hearts as I know I will.
Our deepest sympathy for your family. Mem and Pep send their sympathy and love for the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love you all
My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences on your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Parent family. While it has been several years since I’ve seen Amy I will always have fond memories of our childhood years spent together.
How priviledged I was to briefly know Amy and her precious little brood..I work at CVS Pharmacy and would see these cherubs come in with Grandpa on occasion..What a Blessing! My thoughts & prayers are with you..May GOD’s Wonderful Grace sustain you now and always.
My deepest sorrow go out to the whole Parent Family. There are no words to describe what you are going through, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss seeing Amy come to First Citizens Bank in Mills River.

To all the Parent family,
I have kept up with your wonderful family through Matt and Adam at Food Lion, and remember Amy best as a delightful, beautiful elementary school girl when I taught Spanish at Mills River. I feel like I know the triplets well, through the boys who love them so much.
May each of you be held so closely in God’s loving arms and find comfort as Amy lives on in your hearts and through her wonderful children. God bless you.
Bill, Meliss, Jonathan, Matthew, Adam, Julia, Jackson, Jacob, and extended family,
I loved to make Amy laugh. Her whole face would light up! Time spent with her was always a joy… whether we were hiking to a waterfall or riding around in my old, dented car with no A/C and windows that wouldn’t roll down. Conversation always came easy on hot summer days with no radio in the car and sweat rolling down our faces and backs. I sure miss that girl!
Even though we are trying to grasp for a reason for a beautiful life to be cut so short we can all be thankful for those three incredible children she brought into this world and raised with all the love she could give. You are a wonderful family that has always made me feel welcome and loved. I feel the grief that you are experiencing and hope that all of the love, prayers, and happy memories can help ease the pain. There is certainly nothing that can take it away. I love you all very much and I am always here for you.
Love,
ED
Amy’s family and her darling triplets,
I work for a physicians office where Amy was a patient. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Amy was a great woman and mother. She was beautiful inside and out. She had a smile that would light up the room. I’m sorry that she was taken from her children so soon. She deserved so much more…I saw her the day before she passed and told her how much we (the staff) cared for her. The world can sometimes be too hard of a place for kind souls.
God Bless all of you and the children. It will take quite some time for the pain to heal…though it will never be completely forgotten as we will never forget Amy.
Bill, Meliss & Family,
Words can’t express the heartfelt sorrow in the loss of your daughter. May the sweet momories live on in your hearts and in those of her children. God bless.
With deepest sympathy and love, Gayle
Bill, Meliss and Family: On behalf of myself and my mom and dad, I wish to extend our deepest sympathies on the loss of your daughter. I cannot begin to understand the pain that you are experiencing. Know that all of you are in our prayers and thoughts. Fondly, Connie Perry Desbiens, Mr. Mrs. Richard Perry
Parent Family,
No words can ease the pain of losing a loved one, so I’ll share a story that brings a smile to my face when I think of Amy.
Amy was as tough as they come when we were little kids. She played baseball with the boys, instead of softball with the girls. I remember when our coach would stick her in to pitch; the laughter from the other team was audible. The laughs did not last long, because as fast as they would step up to the plate is as fast as she would strike them out.
She was such a special girl, and I will most certainly never forget her.
Prayers and best wishes to you all.
Sincerely,
Robert Wilburn
We were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Amy. We can only imagine what you all are going through. May the good memories comfort you, and the angels surround Amy and your family with the healing Light of God’s Love. Our prayers are with you all. If there is anything we could do, please ask.
Dominus vobiscum,
Kathy, Jerry and Jonathan
So sorry for your loss. Your in our hearts and prayers.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and and the rest of the family. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

As I read this notice this morning, my heart became heavy and sad as I realized Amy was someone I knew. Not well; she and my daughter Ashley were in school together for many years. However, as a mother, my heart ached for the loss of so many she has touched and left behind. While reading her obituary and the comments others have left, I feel I missed out on knowing a wonderful woman. We left Mills River in 2000 and don’t keep up with a lot of folks from there. It was sweet to read some of her former teachers and friends’ comments, showing how truly special Amy was.
I am so saddened and my heart hurts for your loss. My prayer is that God will comfort you as only He can and that you will get to see Amy in heaven and understand why He took her at such an early age. I know it was for good even though at this time that may be hard to understand. Sigh.
I am so shocked and heartbroken for you and the children. Ariel and I will remember Amy: a beautiful, talented, young woman. Ariel really enjoyed playing the clarinet with her and Christina. We both feel for the children and hope that they know their Mommy is in our hearts and prayers and she is in Heaven watching over them. Sincerely, Mollyann Wingerter
Parent Family,
I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
