  6. Wow! What could we ever say about how Parker inspired us all to move forward in life? He will be in our thoughts for many years to come. As he now looks upon us from his resting place, Parker would want us to rejoice in his passing. Many of us will continue to see his face and hear his voice for many months and years to come. I will always cherish the many good times we had together and his impact he had on my life. At this time we might say God be with him, however let’s remember that he is with God and they are together tonight and forever. May God’s Grace be with the family at this difficult time.

  11. It goes without saying that I am saddened by the passing of Carl Parker, who I will always remember. I will also remember how fondly his son, my friend Steve, used to speak about him. Further, my condolences also offer thanks to Steve and Linda for remembering me when my mother recently passed away.

  12. Dear Steve and Linda, my mom just told me about the passing of your dad. I’m glad you had him for all the years of your life. I too, did not understand my dad and as much as we were in each others lives as kids neither one of us really knew much of anything about each others fathers. I will always remember your dad just the way he looks in the picture. I wish I could have been there for you. I do know what it’s like to lose my dad and I will pray for the grace that you need to sustain you through it. I miss talking to you and feel like we need to talk soon but I want to be sensitive to your situation. May God bless and keep you in His merciful arms my friend of 50+ years. Bobby Blake
