  3. Jeff is no longer with us but leaves behind yrs of memories for all who knew him. Jeff was unique in many ways. teaching us no matter what, we all should move forward. He would visit the Moose Lodge regularly. Most every time he came, he was caring his marker board. Sitting among us, he would enter conversations writing everything down he wanted to say. Eventually he began teaching us sign language both good & bad. It became an inside joke over time always making him laugh when the bad would arise to the ocassion. Jeff loved the members @ the Moose for they always made him feel welcomed, never noticing his disability. That, he would say, is how it’s suppose to be. He believed you should always be happy & enjoy life. Jeff would dance to the beat of the music, sing along in sign @ times, never missing a beat.
Missing Jeff goes without saying. His memory will live forever in our hearts.
May God Bless you and those you love during this time of sorrow and always.
Jeff…you will be forever in our hearts at The Asheville Moose Lodge

  10. I want to add this to the book.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered ‘come to me.’ With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

  22. Harley, Juanita, Doris and family,
Just to say that Jeff Medford was one of the nicest sweetest people I have ever known..He always had that beautiful smile.. I always told him that I loved him, and he would sign to me that he loved me too..He will be sorely missed.. But where he is today is Heaven, and he has a perfect body and God has restored his hearing.. Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy..I have been praying for all of you, and I will continue, because I know your hearts are breaking.. But we serve a big God and He will mend your broken hearts..And we have the promise of seeing Jeff again, through the Lord Jesus Christ, who took our sin so that we could have eternal life, and died and rose so that we do not have to die.. We just cross over Jordan…I pray that God will cover you with His peace that passes all understanding..In His Service, Pat Slingerland
