Beryl Snyder Rogers

Mrs. Rogers was born in Coatesville, PA, and was a daughter of the late Oscar Henry adn Orabelle Brown Snyder. She was a 1941 graduate of Coatesville High School and had lived in Buncombe County for more than 50 years. She was retired from the Buncombe County Board of Education. She was  a former choir director at Pisgah United Methodist Churchand at the time of her death was a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, J. Glenn 'Boots' Rogers; a daughter Glenda R. Davis and her husband Connie of Greenville, SC; a son Jimmy Rogers and his wife Julia, of Candler; a sister Doris Williams of Coatsville, PA; five grandchildren, Scott Rogers, Glenn Rogers, Lisa Constantine, Steve Davis, and Scott Davis; and two great-grandchildren MacKenzie and Courtney Constantine.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend H.D. Houck officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Glenn and Scott Rogers, Scott, Steve, and Connie Davis, Bob Glover and Paul Constantine.

Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
