Debbie Luther Hensley

Debbie Luther Hensley, 40, of 29 Karen Place, Asheville, died
Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Frank
A. Luther, Sr. of Linville, NC and of the late Nancy Jean Payne Luther.  
She was a teacher's assistant at Sand Hill-Venable School and also had
been a nursing assistant for a number of years.  She was a member of
Starnes Cove Baptist Church and a troop leader of the Junior Girl Scout
Troop #495.

In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Nancy
Johanna Hensley and Betty Jolene Hensley of the home and three
brothers, Tony Douglas of Linville, Fred Thomas Luther and Frank A.
Luther of Asheville.

Services will be held at 11 am Saturday in Starnes Cove Baptist Church
conducted by the Rev. Charles Sams.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn
Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the
church and at other times will be at the home of Marie Banks, 3 Creasman
Place, Asheville.
