Mildred Wells Teague, 87, formerly of North Turkey Creek Road, Leicester, died Tuesday, February 16, 1999, at Madison Manor.

Mrs. Teague was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Timey Webb Wells, and was married to Robert Eugene Teague, who died in 1970. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Carroll and Mary Ann Teague of Leicester; three grandchildren, Robert Teague, Sharon Smith, and Karen Ray, and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Jared Teague and Olivia Ray.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm Thursday at Groce Funeral Home onPatton Avenue with the Revs. John T. Tiller and Bobby Smith officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 Friday at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening following the service until 8:00 pm.
