  1. Mammaw Queen-I. Love you very much. I was proud to be one of your adopted grandchildren. You and my Nana are one of the strongest women I know. Even though we didn’t want to let you go I know today is a glorious day for you and your heavenly father. And especially for your bestfriend, husband and my Papaw Queen. He is smiling from head to toe introducing you to his friends. Give Papaw a kiss and my Nana a kiss. I know you are going to be missed dearly. Love Michelle Stevens Hare

  2. I am in Heaven now, a place that I have dreamed of and pictured for many years….oh look, there is mama, daddy, my dear sweet husband and oh look theres my neighbor from when the kids were little or not even born…oh what a site to behold, the streets of Heaven are just as they are described, they are beautiful and made of gold…oh, as wonderful as the sites are and as good as it is to see all, there are two things for sure that I am most thankful for…no more pains nor sickness do I have, I can run and jump, i am so glad…but the face of my Lord is what I truly desire to see, I can not wait till His beautiful, peaceful loving countance I see.

  9. Gwen and Vickie:
While I know you are both mourning the loss of your mother, I know that God will comfort you. It is difficult to see a parent suffer and even more so to realize they will no longer be with us. I know that you will be guided by the hand of our Heavenly Father in this very difficult time of loss. Please know that I have both of your families in my daily thoughts and prayers, but please call on me if I can do anything at all.

    Love, Paula

  10. Dear Gwen, Vickie and family, I was so saddened on Monday to learn of your mothers passing. Alice was such a sweet woman and she loved her family. I pray God will comfort and bless each one of you in these troubling days. It was always a pleasure to see Alice at the Laurels and I will miss seeing her sitting on her ‘porch’ each day. We will miss you, her family also. You were a great part of many of our lives there. I shall think of you each time I’m there visiting my husband. She loved her Lord and she is now safely home. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Joan

  11. Dear Gwen, Vickie and family,
It’s so hard to say good-bye to the ones we love so much. It is such a comfort for us to know that Daddy must have been waiting on Alice at those Pearly Gates so they could walk through together. They always had a very special relationship! Praise God for all the special memories we have to keep in our hearts. May God continue to give you comfort and keep you safe in his loving arms. Know that we love you and always will.

  12. Vickie and Gwen,
During the difficult days ahead for you just remember that Jesus has a glorious plan ahead for your mother (and father). Our human nature of missing a parent is the most difficult part but memories are the best. I’ll always remember the fun times we had, as children, at your Mom and Dads house, holidays celebrated together and many other great times.
Just wanted you to know that I am out of town and will not be able to be there in person for your mothers service but am so there with you in spirit. Please accept my apology for not being able to attend.
    Peace be with you.
    Love to all-Kathy

  13. Gwen, Vickie and family,
What a Glorious Day Monday was when Alice took her first steps on the streets of gold. Reunited with Bob and so many loved ones. But most of all seeing Jesus for the first time. What a Great and Glorious Time! I Can Only Imagine!
Love you all so very much and my prayers are with you.

  14. Vickie, Gwen, and family,
I am sorry for your loss. I loved Alice and enjoyed being around her. I remember her smile and how we used to laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  15. Sister Gwen,
So sorry to hear about your Loss.
I know the hurt you’re feeling now, I just lost My Mother 2 months ago. We do know that they are in the presence of JESUS now, where there is no more suffering, no more pain, no more tears. All is Peace Forevermore! Seems like when I think of the PEACE they have now, it helps ease my hurt. I Pray that GOD will give you the Strength and Peace that you and I both need in the Days ahead. I can’t say it is easy because you will think of little things they did or just expect them to call to tell you they Love you just one more time!
You don’t know me Personally but I
have been to The Dwelling Place Several times, and watch you when you’re on Nite Line. May God Bless You and Comfort you during this time of loss, remember earths loss is Heavens Gain! Thank you Jesus for Peace today for my Sister in Christ!
