James A. Hultgren

James A. Hultgren, 82, died April 4, 2010. Originally from Chicago, Jim was a longtime resident of Fremont. He was a former employee of Bixler Furs and a 23 year employee of Moore’s Business Forms until his retirement. He was active in many local programs such as Junior Achievement, the Historical Society, Elks, YMCA, F.C.T. and he also was a Navy Veteran. He was a loyal and longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Mary, after 57 years of marriage and by a daughter, Cindy Hudson. He is survived by a son, Jim, Jr., of Castalia, Ohio; daughters, Kathleen Gonzales and Christine Wright and her husband, Jason, of Asheville, NC; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a sister, Lois Goggin. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
