Fred Donald Burgin, Jr., 59, of 207 Bent Creek Ranch Road, Lot 1, Asheville, died Monday, October 11, 1999, at his home.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late
Fred Donald Burgin, Sr. and Mae McMahan Jones. He served in the US Air Force and was a blue print
engineer with Engineering Associates.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Fagan of Asheville; a sister, Clara Collins of Candler;
grandson, Timothy Fagan of Asheville; and a niece, Karen Collins of Candler.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Patton
Avennue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Houston officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at
the funeral home.
