Deborah Louise Clayton

Deborah Louise Clayton, 57, of Candler, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010, at Hominy Valley Assisted Living Center, Candler. She was born in Wake County on May 16, 1953, to Ruby Clayton of Asheville and the late Lowell Reid Clayton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Barry Clayton. Survivors other than her mother include one sister, Anita Clayton Hutchins of Matthews; sister-in-law, Donna Clayton; two nephews, Travis Clayton and wife, Amy, and Russell Clayton; two nieces, Krista Hutchins and Ashton Hutchins; great-niece, Jill Clayton and great-nephews, Denver and Grant Clayton. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 AM at Azalea United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Benton will officiate. Groce Funeral Home East Asheville on Tunnel Road is in charge of arrangements.
