RICHARD H. PRENTICE Richard H. Prentice, 77, of 67 Rangeview Acres Drive, Candler, died Monday, October 2, 2000, at Pisgah Manor Nursing Center.

Mr. Prentice was born in Washington, DC, and was a son of the late Warren and Grace Gilbert Prentice.

He was an Army veteran and worked for IBM for 23 years. He and his wife, Alma G. Prentice, were former residents of Melbourne, FL, before moving to Candler in 1999.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Heins of Indiana and Marilyn Prentice Peek of Candler,five grandchildren, Chuck Deweese, Shelly Deweese, Donna Jones, Teresa Longo and Richard Longo; one great-granddaughter,Hannah Deweese; one sister,Shirley Mills and one brother, Clarence Prentice.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Melba Banks officiating. His family will be at the residence.
