Anne Nettles Guy, 63, died Tuesday, October 17, 2000, at Park Ridge Living Center after an extended illness.
A native of Asheville, Mrs. Guy was born on May 31, 1937 to Helen Mills Nettles Schmidt and the late Henry Woodfin Nettles, and granddaughter of the late Harvey and Annie Mills and the late William and Julia Nettles. She was also preceded
in death by her husband Leslie Paul Guy who died in 1981.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Julie Diane Guy, Leslie Stephen Guy, and Annice Guy Houston and her husband Ricky Houston; three grandsons, Ryan Houston, Daniel Houston, and T.J. Anders.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard, in Fletcher, with The Reverend Deacon David Nard officiating. Groce Funeral Home Patton Avenue is in charge of
arrangements.
