  1. Rob,
You’re the man. Thanks for being the greatest friend anyone could ever have. I can still hear your voice screaming from the dugout as I step up to the plate. I, along with a lot of other people, are going to miss you buddy.
    Love Tav

  3. Rob,
Being the new guy, you took me right under your wing the first day we met. You always had a kind word to say and I never saw you when you weren’t smiling. Thanks for being such a nice person and for loving the game like it should be loved. I know you’re smiling down on us all. You and your family have our prayers.

  4. Rob was a wonderful friend to me when we went to school together here in Milford CT. He was always there to give advice, be a shoulder to cry on or to cheer you up with a good laugh. We would talk on the phone till very late at night about his time in NY, music and anything else going on at school. He was very generous in offering help to our sports teams and to the people in our class. Im happy to have known such a great friend and will miss him very much. My condolences to his family, he was a wonderful person.

  5. Robert was a presence who wanted everyone
to be happy. He would seek you out and make
you smile. He always had a kind word for anyone
he encountered. His smile lit up his face, then the
room and even the entire gym. His enthusiasm and
spirit will live forever. He would stop by my classroom
and just chat about yesterday’s sporting events, or
just what was going on in school. Inevitably you
would end up smiling for the rest of the day. As a
sophomore he enjoyed coming into my freshman
classes and chatting with them before moving on
    to his classes.

  6. Robbie, as I knew him, was a gentle soul, who did, indeed love sports. As his next door
neighbor in Milford, Robbie spent much time on evenings or weekends in my home or in my yard. He was a very bright and inquisitive young man, always seeking to understand the actions of others, and what his place in
this life was and could be.
Though I am greatly saddened by Robbie’s departure from us, I am confident he has found the answers he sought in life, now that he has moved on to a loving reality.

  7. I had the pleasure of knowing Rob. I am friends with most of the baseball team and he was a big part of it. Rob loved the game of baseball and could pretty much tell you anything you wanted to know about it. And as for Roberson baseball, well, he loved it even more. He was a great guy and will be missed by all.

  8. On behalf of ‘ Robert ‘ we would both like to express both our sincere sympathies and condolences to Susan and the rest of the family. Although we never knew her son ‘Robert’, Teresa and I are very sad for the loss of her son. Our prayers are with her and her entire family during this time of pain. ‘Robert’ be will be missed but, will always be as close as your thoughts.

    Sincerly,

    Teresa Dadswell
    &
    Patrick Steele

  12. My Dearest Rob, I miss you everyday. It’s painful to think that your light is not on this Earth anymore. There is so much I don’t understand and cannot make sense of. I just let it be Rob….. let it be, let it go, and let it float away. You were my everything darling. You cut me in half when you decided to leave. Almost twenty years later and I’m still in that place, still in love, still broken like a child when I face your loss…..my loss. Just missing you as another year climbs closer. Forever part of you,
    Noelle
