Our family was very fond of your father. He was a fine man. Having lost our father a few years ago, we know how your hearts hurt, and we will keep you and your families in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob Lambert was my mother’s (Ruth Starnes) good neighbor for many years. He will be missed.
I am one of his granddaughters, Judy is my mother. I don’t think any of us can find enough words to describe what he meant to us, how much he was loved and how much he loved us in return. I am so proud of my Papaw. The picture that I will carry with me will be that of a strong, handsome man with a wonderful smile who always stood straight & tall. I am so blessed that my children were able to spend so much valuable time with him. He will always be in our thoughts.
Kim, Murphy, Matt, Jordan & Taylor
I am one of the other granddaughters, daughter of his daughter Judy. Papaw was a great man and I have never met anyone else like him. I used to call him up and play jokes on him because of his great sense of humor. I have many memories of going to Cherokee and riding through Blue Ridge Parkway as he showed my husband and I around. He really loved the mountains and that will always be his home. He will really be missed by us all.
Valarie, Jimmy & Justin
I spent time at Bob and Marthas house alot when I was younger. My mom was Betty Weaver. I also saw Bob at the ophthalmologist office where I work. He was a great man and I sure will miss him just as I have Martha. God Bless you all….
