MINNIE JAMISON McINTOSH CANDLER – Minnie Jamison McIntosh, 91, died on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Pisgah Manor. A native of Rosman, she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Christine Fox Jamison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd McIntosh. Mrs. McIntosh retired from American Enka after 30 years of service. She is survived by sons Lloyd McIntosh of Leicester, Boots McIntosh of Crossnore, Charles McIntosh of Candler, and Ricky McIntosh of Arden; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
