Arden - On Wednesday, November 26, 2003, Maude Sutherland Edwards, beloved daughter of Thomas and Carie Sutherland (both deceased); loving sister of Gracie Phillips, Cora Barton, Winnie Hubble, Dorothy Bailey, John Sutherland, Alex Sutherland, June Sutherland, Emma Kiser, Lizzie Rasnick, Lela Kiser, Tivis Sutherland (all deceased), Maxie Bailey, Gertrude Formolo and Miles Sutherland; devoted mother of Ellen Allen, Elaine Baker (Mrs. Burl Baker) and Eva Tipton (Mrs. Weldon Tipton); proud grandmother of Deborah Maddox (Mrs. Keith Maddox), Rickey Morris, and wife Ginger, and Stacey Evans (Mrs. Ken Evans) and equally proud great-grandmother of Kayla, Mason and Meckenzie Morris and Christian Maddox, left her worldly family to join her husband, Pless Edwards, and God’s family in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service. Interment will be at Shepherd Memorial Park.

I was very sorry to read of the passing of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. I know she will be surely missed. It has been many years sence I had seen Maude, but I can remember going with my Dad and Stepmother, Kin and Donnie, to see her and Pless.My condolences to you all.
