Carl Lewis Lusk

Mr. Lusk was a native of Buncombe County and was a son of the late Henry Grady and Geneva Webb Lusk. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Ledwell Lusk who died in 1996, and by a brother, Clyde Lusk.

He retired from Carolina Freight in 1990 with 32 years of service. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Bell United Methodist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Reeves of Leicester; four sons, David, Wayne, and Jeffrey Lusk of Leicester and Wesley Lusk of Clinton, SC; one sister, Wylma Aldridge of Leicester; one brother, Morris Lusk of Leicester; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday at Bell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue where Mr. Lusk will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
