Annie Laura’s Family, We were distressed to hear of Annie Laura’s death. For many years her parents, brother, and sister were active in the West Asheville Presbyterian Church. I served on the session there with her Father Leonard and while living in Charlotte at the time of his death attended his burial service there. Mary Lou and Leonard, Jr. were active in the youth groups when we were advisers. Her Mother was always doing something for some member of the church. In life we are never ready to give up our loved ones and the only comfort has to come from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. Please know you are in our prayers and we just hope in some small way it does help to know others do care. Joe & Zunita
Steve and I have you in our prayers during this sad time. Please know you are in our hearts! Margie & Steve
Sorry for your loss Paul. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
We at the ‘Land of the Sky Post Polio Support Group’ would like to tell you how much we will miss Annie. She was a wonderful woman and wonderful Nurse and probably took care of some of us when we were at the Asheville Orthropedic Hospital during the Polio Epidemic. We all loved her so much and we would like to get in touch with you.We are trying to locate the grandson that used to bring her to our meetings so we can tell you properly how much that Annie meant to us. Please contact me at my email address or call me at 828 765- 7714 or you could come to our next meeting on the second Saturday of each month. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
