Charlotte - Robert Benjamin Wine, Jr., 38, of Eastway Drive, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 7, 2002 in Charlotte.

A native of Rockingham Co., Virginia, he was the son of Kay Kagey Wine and Robert Benjamin Wine, Sr. of Arden. He was a graduate of T.C. Roberson High School and was a member of the Avery’s Creek United Methodist Church.

He was living in Charlotte while working on a construction project.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Keith Wine of Arden and his nephew, Corey Sabrowski of Arden.

Private graveside services were held in the Avery’s Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Rockingham Co., Virginia.

    I think of you often and it always makes me smile. Although, I don’t remember either one of us smiling when we got paddled in 4th grade for putting straight pins in Mrs. Allen’s chair.

  5. Me Davy&Danny grew up with R.B&Keith played alot of football ,baseball,Army &caught alot of lizards &crawdads R.B was a close friend as well as the rest of his family I consider it a honer to have known him.
