Hazel Buckner Gaddy

Hazel Buckner Gaddy died after an extended illness on Friday, November 4th in Irmo, SC. She was born on July 13, 1927 to Oscar and Hattie Buckner in Marshall, NC. She was married to Weldon Gaddy for 62 years before he died in 2008. She was loved by all her family and friends. She was known as "Grandma" to many. A funeral service for Mrs. Gaddy will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Keith Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
