  9. We will miss Granny. She was a sweet and loving person that loved every body. it is hard to imagine her gone, but we are glad she is with Jesus & Mamaw Mae, Papaw Banks & Naomi and all her other brothers and sisters. Her mom and dad and so many who died before her. she lived a long time and made people happy that knew her. She was the kindest woman i know and is the reason we are who we are.
We love you Granny, when our time comes, we will come home too.
Until then, help Mamaw Mae watch over us.
    Jon & Danny Grindstaff

  10. I would like everyone to know that I really do love them and appreciate what they have done for my family. I’m not just talking about the ones that helped out or sent food & flowers… I am even talking about family that came and hung out with us and brought smiles to our faces, laughter to our ears and even the tissue for our tears.
We don’t know what we need, but somehow, someone comes through with it. And they may not even realize what they have done for us. If nothing else I feel the need to thank everyone for their time. Cause it seems that no one has much to spare these days.
But nothing goes un-noticed or un-appreciated. We love you all. Even the ones that only offer prayer. We never get too much of that.
Each one of us have struggled with this in our own way. And found comfort in many sources.
Thanks so much, everyone… You have been so great.
God Bless You and your kind heart.
Granny would be pleased with everything, she wasn’t very particular when it came to things like this.
I know she will be with me forever and I hope that she touched you in a way that will bring you closer to God and making sure to see her again by his side.
Make sure that Jesus is in your heart and you are ready at any time to join him.
No one is promised tomorrow, so pray hard & keep your faith in him strong so that you will be ready, as Granny was.
Love You Granny, Miss You So Much!
I have tried to be strong, but it is hard not to cry.
Its just hard to think that you are gone. Like I can still just drop in and see you.
    We all wish we had came more often than we did;
    we can’t change that now.
I just hope you knew that we still loved you and thought about you often.
Right up til the end… You knew all of us and told us that you loved us. And I am thankful for that. You are so beautiful & I imagine Heaven is much brighter since you arrived.
We missed you as we gathered in your memory, but still feel your presence.
Can’t help it, you have always been there for each of us.
No one could think of a single time you intentially hurt someone. I wish we could all say that about ourselves.
    Love You Granny,
Rest & enjoy your reward. You have most definately earned it.

It was great to see everyone and I hope that somehow we can continue to keep in touch. I know we all say this, as each funneral goes by. But really it wouldn’t be that hard; for once a month or even twice a year! We have some really good cooks and even more really good eaters in the family.

  11. Being her 1st grandchild I will miss her dearly. She directed me in the right way several times . She lived a good life taking care of everyone. We will miss her love : I LOVE YOU dearly granny!!
