Albert Russell Platt

Albert Russell Platt, 79, of 260 Richmond Hill Drive, Asheville, died Saturday, June 8, 2002. Mr. Platt was born in Fall River, MA and was a son of the late William Robert Platt and Mae Robinson Platt Pomous. He was a WW II Navy veteran and Purple Heart Recipient and was a retired general contractor. He is survived by his wife, Natalie Mendez Platt; two daughters, Linda Vautrin and Gail Mederios, a son, Mark Platt, several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No local services are planned.
