  4. My daddy (Mike Ledbetter) showed me how to love my children unconditionally. No matter what they do, you love them through it. He taught me how to be strong and stand up to protect my children. He showed me that sometimes all you can do is pray and let God handle things . He taught me how to put your children before yourself. That if you are hungry hide it so your children can eat before you. If you need shoes because yours are falling off your feet but your kids need something, then you say you like your holey shoes. He taught me to walk to work if you dont have a car. He showed me that you stay up at night and make sure your kids are ok. He taught me to tell my children how beautiful they are. Inside and out. My daddy is my hero and my heart is so broken but I know that one day I will see him again. Bye daddy, for now . I love you daddy. Always and forever. Genevieve
