Arthur Kendall Jones

Arthur Kendall Jones, 86, of Candler, NC passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at Mission Hospital.

Born May 18, 1939 in Buncombe Co., Arthur was a son of the late George Russell Jones and Minnie Belle Moore Jones Penland. He was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur Kendall Jones, Jr., and his step-father, Richard Penland (Marilee).

Surviving is his wife, Jewell Nan Qualls Jones; daughter, Jeanette Houston (Steve); son, Michael K. Jones (Sherry) and Timothy Dale Jones; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and brothers, George Russell Jones, Jr. and James B. Jones (Martha).

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.
