Ava Lee Ingle Case of 20 Wedgefield Drive, is no longer a pilgrim and stranger in this land. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 2, 2000.

She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late Avery and Sally Lunsford Ingle. She was an amazing wife and mother filled with love and patience. Her love for her God and her family was like a perfect rose unfolding to reveal its beauty. She will always be remembered for her strength and great faith in God. Her faith in God was proved by the way she lived.

“For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Case, Jr. and eight children; four daughters, Deborah C. Shepherd of Weaverville, Marsha C. DeBruhl of Mars Hill, Diane C. Swaringen of Gastonia, and Lisa C. Baldwin of Candler; four sons, Philip Case of Asheville, Shawn Case of Leicester, Mark Case of Weaverville, and Eric Case of Asheville; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:00 noon Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Al Riggs officiating.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
