I am so sorry for your loss.. Our loving Father Jehovah promises very soon to rid the earth of sickness and death forever, and he will bring our loved ones back by means of a resurrection. Rev. 21:4; Acts 24:15……. May Jehovah God be with your family.
We are so sorry for your loss. Betty was a wonderful Christian lady, and did so much for her family and community. She will be missed greatly.
I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She taught me piano lessons when I was little, and I remember going to the Beech Library and she just knew so much about authors and books. Heaven truly just received an Angel!
To the Bollinger family, So sorry to hear of Ms. Parkers passing. She was indeed a true Christian lady.
Granny, you are by far the most wonderful person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Thank you for all the love, nurturing, and discipline you gave me over my 34 years. You helped shape me into the woman I am today. I know you and daddy are looking over us and will continue to always. I have a big hole left in my heart today and I can’t wait to see your smiling face in heaven. You are loved for always.

This is from Billie Faye Morrison Harvey, first cousin: there were six of us born in 1926 and they put us all in a basket and took our picture! Bettie Alice and I were always so close, good friends, spent every summer together growing up and kept close through the years. She was such a giving person in her family, community and church – a real example to me through the years. She would sit with the elderly and sick, and gave piano lessons (often free). She sang in a shaped-note choir, a very rare thing these days. I know you are enjoying heaven now, Bettie, but I will miss you always. I will see you soon!
Saddened by the loss of a sweet lady, my mother’s first cousin. She always welcomed everybody and could organize the family reunions and the food! My love and sympathy to all the family.
Our sincere sympathy to your family during this time. We have fond memories from years gone by. Bettie Parker surrounded herself with children and brought joy to many. She also made the best iced tea ever! Let your good memories give you comfort in days to come.
Bettie was one of the most giving, caring people that I have ever known.
It was a blessing and honor to have been ‘one of her children’ as many of us were in the Beech Community. Her Christlike qualities are too many to mention but are a tremendous example for us all to remember and follow as her legacy.
She will be missed and always remembered with great rejoicing for who she was and what a wonderful influence in all of our lives..
