Betty Kimbrell Jarrell, 82, of Arden, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at her residence.
A native of Chesnee, SC she was the daughter of the late Henry and Maude Kimbrell. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Julian Jarrell, who died in 2001.
Betty was a dedicated member of Arden First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Dock "Dan" Kimbrell of Boiling Springs, SC; a niece, Jimmie Tuggle of Fayetteville, GA; seven nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; very close friends, Julia Daniels and Rachel Smith as well as the Friendship Sunday School Class of Arden First Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Arden First Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeffrey Hudson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church.
Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.

I used to live on Oak Leaf Lane right across from Betty and Jullian. My parents were friends with them for over 20 years. I was saddened to hear of Betty’s passing. She was the last of the original residents on that end of the street. She was always very kind to me. My prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
We have our memories to cherish. Shine your light. We will miss you, I will miss getting and sending our notes. We love you very much.
