  1. To the Family of Bill Higgins…

I was deeply saddened upon receiving word of Uncle Bill’s passing, and pray that God will provide adequate comfort to the family in this period of adjustment and mourning. He was a man of incredible character; a kindred spirit who touched all who knew him in a very unique and uplifting manner; and a truly great man and remarkable individual. His compassion and decency were but a couple of the endearing elements and intangible traits that made him a very special person. Beyond the sadness and loss that is now felt, we must also
hold a sense of intense privilege and gratitude for having been allowed to
share a part of his life, remembering that death only ends a life here on earth; it does not end a relationship. I vividly recall and will forever remember the tremendous love and enormous pride that he carried for all of his family. I know how much you will miss him, but I also know you are grateful for the many blessings of the beautiful years you shared together My prayers, sympathy, and warm thoughts are with each of you during this difficult time of adjustment, and may the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.
