Blanche Alice Whitt Ingle, 78, of Asheville, passed away on Thursday, November 27, at JFK Solace Center.
Born in W.Virginia to the late Eli M. and Sarah Riffe Walker Whitt Viers, she loved to cook and sew, fish, read, crochet and spend time with her family. She was a beloved grandmother. She held family reunions annually for over 20 years and was known for her garden and her flowers.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph England, Norris "Doc" Bishop and Thomas Ingle, Jr.; grandson, Mark Anthony England, and sisters, Corda Roberts, Hannah Boyd, Edith Viars and Frances Seiple.
She is survived by her children, Johnny England (Rosanna), Melissa Ballard (Robert Kiah); sister,
Mazie Wise; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Reynolds Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Smith will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
