Blanche Alice Ball, 95, went to be with God, our creator, at 9:50 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011. Mrs. Ball was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Deaver Blazer, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Cleatus Ball, and a grandson, Norman Ball. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church. Mrs. Ball is survived by two daughters, Audrey Carson of Parker, AZ, and Carolyn Stodghill of Candler; three grandchildren, Shirley Stodghill, Deneise Mitchell and Rick Carson; seven great-grandchildren, Jason Biggs, Desiree Biggs, Nicholas Loefler, Heather Loefler, Jessica Biggs, Sean Toomey and Emily Carson; and six great-great-grandchildren, Sierra Chambers, Elena Vecchio, Travion Chambers, Dade Biggs, Klhoe Vecchio, and Lyric Biggs. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Clontz officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to the service.
