BOBBY JOE HYATT CANDLER – Bobby Joe Hyatt, 75, of Misty Lane, Candler, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Memorial Campus, Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Joe and Mae Lovingood Hyatt. He was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Michael Hyatt. Mr. Hyatt was retired from Champion Paper. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Joann Huffman Hyatt; daughter Cheryl Ann Hixon and husband Chuck; and four grandchildren, Mark Hixon, Caylan Hixon, Matthew Hixon, and Chasiton Coates. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gwen Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
