  10. I’m Free
    Unknown Author

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life’s been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Hope you have a swift journey home Bobby.

  16. I loved Bobby like a brother, even tho we lost touch through the years. Life seems to pull us in different directions but having the Carpenters reunion brought us back together and now I know that reunion was a blessing and the bond you have with someone. Ours started in High School and yes we did get into trouble a lot but we always survived it. He always was smiling, telling jokes and no matter what, he lifted your spirit. I will always remember Bobby and hate that we have lost such a good man. God has gained another angel and must have needed him there with him so he could help the other angels smile and uplift them as he did anyone that ever met him. RIP my brother and friend. Prayers for the family.

  17. I was sadden to hear of Bobby’s passing. What a perfect photo of Bobby to represent his zest for life. Always smiling, laughing, clowning around and a pleasure to be around. I first met Bobby through BVS Football and immediately took a liken to him. I saw him a couple of weeks ago at Bay Breeze Restaurant in Hendersonville and had a very nice conversation with him. He will surely be missed. My sympathy and prayers to his family.
