Dear Family,
I just learned of your Mother’s death when I checked the internet. I know you will miss her. I have fond memories of coming to visit your family on Sunday afternoons with Daddy and Mother. I remember these visits meant much to my Mother because she also grew up in Macon County and remembered your Mother from those times. God bless you in your loss. Love, Roberta
I was truly blessed to have Ma-maw as a grandmother. My memories of growing up as one of a gang of cousins who were all loved and nurtured are invaluable. Our many games of Rock School on the steps or Park and Shop around the kitchen table, the long low steps down to the garages, the Easter Egg hunts and Christmas parties, the jars of orange slice candy, and the wonderful dinners are all treasures to me.
Ma-maw and Pa-paw’s love and committment to each other were an example to us as they celebrated their 50th anniversary the same weekend in 1977 that Lewis and I were married.
I will miss Ma-maw but will always treasure the memories I have of times with her and our family.
Sorry to hear about Mrs. Jones death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Dot and Speck.
Thinking of you Jo & Dave
OUR SYMPATHY and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow.
your Mother was always an inspiration to me and and I treasure
the memories of her. She was such an example of a Christian wife and mother, that it was a joy just to spend a few minutes with her.
You Dad was Don’s supervisor for several years at Sayles and most of you remember we lived very near each other for many years. we can console ourselves with the thought
that one day we will all meet again in that wondrful place where we will never say good-by to our loved ones and all will be joy for eternity. May God keep and comfort each of you
Your mother was a special person to everyone she knew. She was special to me. I treasure the times I stayed in her home. I used to visit Helen for a week every summer when we were growing up. I will always cherish those times. Aunt Bonnie always had a way of making everyone welcome in her home. I know you will miss her. We all will miss her but she had a long and wonderful life and raised wonderful children.
