Brenda Kaye Rose Crisp, 58, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Born November 28, 1963 in Rhode Island, Brenda was a daughter of George Wallace Rose and of the late Mary Ruth Sharpe Rose. She was also preceded in death by her “Nanny”, Clara Sharpe, who she loved dearly.

Mrs. Crisp worked in healthcare at Deerfield, Universal Healthcare and Brookdale. She was a loving, dutiful wife, and the very definition of Mother. She was an awesome caregiver, mom, grandmother, and was very artistic, enjoying sewing blankets for her kids, grand and great-grandchildren. She loved the beach, was a faithful prayer warrior, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her father is her husband, Phillip Crisp, Sr.; mother-in-law, Joyce Crisp; daughters, Tina Crisp, Kim Ogan, Ryan Radford, and Katy Crisp; son, Phillip Crisp, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephen, Daniel, Elton, Anna, Dylan, Kyndall, Emma, Kennah, Nola, Niall, Trey, Cole, Kade, Sidda, Kelby and Harley; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Keegan, Rohen and Josiah; four sisters, one brother, three sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Pastors Allen Rash and Doug Guy officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Private family burial will be held at Green Hills Cemetery.

Brenda was a blessing to so many and she will be greatly missed. She will forever live in our memories and heart.
