Loved his family, loved life and Hawaii. Marched to his own drum and did it his way.
If there is a musical group in the afterlife, no doubt Bruce is already sitting in. Farewell old soul, rest easy.
Rest In Peace, Bruce. You’ll be missed by many of us. We all loved you.
our dear friend since 1981, shared so many good times, got me to sing in Hawaii, gone but never forgotten. We treasure our memories of a wonderful, talented, and kind best friend.
We are so sorry for the loss of your Father and Grandfather….we are thinking of you in Minnesota ..
We love you!!!
Bruce was a very special, kind, and loving man. He will be missed very much at Pisgah View Ranch as all of us there consider him a national treasure that we all enjoyed having every time he sang and entertained all of the staff and guests. I know he is sharing his wonderful gift with the choir we all hope to be in one day. Thank you for sharing your dad with us.
I was a stranger in a strange land (Asheville). And he welcomed me, made me feel less odd & gave me a solution that worked like a charm. Loved jamming in the Sunday group at the ranch also. Dang, Bruce I miss you
My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bruce was my 1st cousin and in our youth, visited with his family often in NC. My deepest sympathy to the family.
WHEN HUBBY FINALLY STARTED SINGING KARAOKE AT AGE 90, BRUCE WAS UP THERE CHEERING HIM ON. WE DID MANAGE A TRIP TO N. CAROLINA & SPENT A FEW DAYS AT PISGAH VIEW, SO RELAXING. I EVEN TRIED TO PLANT SOME VEGGIE SEEDS THERE. THAT HUGE FLOWERING BUSH IN FRONT THAT ATTRACTED ALL THE BUTTERFLIES & OF COURSE BRUCE SINGING. VERY FOND MEMORIES. WILL MISS YOU BRUCE, NOW U R WITH MY JONES. I KNOW HE HAS A NEW BUDDY NOW.
WITH MUCH LOVE & EXTREME FONDNESS KATHLEEN CHAN FROM SAN FRANCISCO
So sorry to hear this. I have fond memories of time spent at Aunt Lucille’s house as a teenager. And, of course, Bruce and Joel were always there, too. Loved this family. They are missed.
