  1. Carl was such a special man. He loved everybody he met. He was so ready to go home. He will be truly missed . Love you Carl ,see you when I get home.

  2. Nothing but good thoughts working in the home store at Belk for nearly ten years . Carl and I would often go to have out evening meal together when he and I worked until closing . Carl was always kind to me .

  3. I know where my Uncle Carl is today. He told me many times over the last many years that he was not afraid to die. He loved the Lord and was faithful to his Christian duties. He was kind, loving and generous. He adored his family and worried and prayed for all of them. I strive to be faithful so I can be with him and all my loved ones when it’s my turn.
