Carolyn Dorothy Dryman, 88, of Weaverville, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., Carolyn was a daughter of the late Roy Tate and Francis Nanney Hanks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Amos Dryman.
Surviving are her daughters, Trena Varnum (Alden Owensby), and Rebecca Edwards (Kenneth); sons, Dicky Dryman (Sandy), and Michael Dryman; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alex "Bucky" Hanks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dryman will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at The Church of the Redeemer, with the Revs. Gwen Hall and Bucky Hanks officiating. Interment will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.

I will miss her prayers, her kindness, her cute personality but rest assured that her love for her children will always be there. She loved you beyond the moon and back and always remember that.
