Caryl Young Holcombe

Mrs. Holcombe was born in Andrews and was a daughter of the late Charlie Ross and Laura Adams Young. She was married to Jerome “Bud” Holcombe who died May 21, 2000. She was retired after16 years with Westinghouse and she was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mitzi Holcombe of the home and Karen Wilde and herhusband Eddie of Candler; two sons, Michael Holcombe and his wife Tonya of Canton and Joey Holcombe of the home; five grandchildren, Jamie Wilde, Jessica Holcombe, Joshua Holcombe, Danielle Wilde and Jacob olcombe; and two sisters, Christine Quarks of Asheville and Betty Ridle of Burnsville.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Bobby Smith, Tim Lee and Keith Holcombe officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
