Catherine Rose Kiely

Catherine Rose Cramer Kiely, 89, of Asheville, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Aston Park HealthCare Center. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Rose Burmel Cramer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Kiely. Mrs. Kiely was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. She is survived by daughters Rosanne Kiely and Christine Grout and husband Don; sons Joseph "Mickey" Kiely and wife Regina, Larry "Lorin" Kiely, and Dan Kiely and wife Laura; grandsons Brian and fiance Joanne, Timothy and fiance Brittany, Jonathan and wife Patti; granddaughter Linnea; and great-granddaughter Brianna. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. C. Morris Boyd at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Lawrence.
