Christina Beth Hill Boone, 30, of Arden, died peacefully at home on Friday, January 22, 2010.
A native of Decatur, IL, and a former resident of Poynette, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Christina G. Levey of Indianapolis, IN; E. Michael Hill and his wife, Lisa, of Wilmington, NC and her step-father, John N. Reque, Sr., of Madison, WI.
She was very much an advocate for the disabled throughout the Asheville, NC community, with a focus especially on youth. She worked as a co-manager of several family care homes with her husband for more than 11 years and she attended The Rock.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Lloyd Thomas Boone, Jr.; two sons, Tre Thomas Boone and Lloyd Thomas Boone, III; one sister, Sara Elizabeth Hill and three brothers, John N. Reque, Jr., Anthony Ryan Hill and Robert Edward Hill and one step-brother, Jonathan Davis.
A memorial service will be held in Arden at 7:30 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 pm Thursday, prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tre Thomas Boone and Lloyd Thomas Boone Education Fund in care of any nationwide Wachovia Bank.

John and I cannot begin to tell you how very sad we were to hear about Beth and want to extend our deepest sympathy to all of her family. The Hill family has suffered a loss of two very special young people in the last week and all of our hearts have been broken. May God help each of you through this very trying time!

I will miss Beth very much. We were friends in school and she also worked with my daughter for a little while. I pray God help your family thru this time in need with prayers and love.
