Clive F. Possinger, Sr.
February 9, 1907 ~ November 28, 1999
1999, at Pisgah Manor Nursing Center.
Mr. Possinger was born in Tobyhanna, PA, and was a son of the late Milton and Clara Reinke Possinger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bullock Possinger in 1995, and by a
granddaughter, Heidi Possinger and by two sisters, Worthie Lewis and Mildred Rausch.
Mr. Possinger was a retired painter and decorator and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Karin I. Westcoat of Frederick, MD; two sons, Dr. Clive F.
Possinger, Jr. of Hendersonville, and Paul E. Possinger of Lankham, MD; three sisters, Emily Stinman of Sunny Valley, Oregon, Callie Possinger of Hendersonville, and Wilma Cullen of Fort Myers, FL; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be
2:00 P.M. Friday at Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Hendersonville, with Pastor Don Bankhead and Pastor Charles Boykin officiating.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
