  5. Carmen:
I don’t know what to say. I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea anything was this bad. You and the girls are in my thoughts, but most of all in my prayers. There are no words that I have that can help you other than to tell you to lean on Jesus. He can handle everything! Scott was an extraordinary man and loved his family more than life itself. Thankfully we have the hope of being with him again in heaven one day. I know you are hurting and you don’t know what to do or where to turn. I am so sorry. I love you, and will be praying for you and the rest of the family. Scott will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

  6. Ms.Carmen, Gracie, and Alex,
You and your family are in our deepest thoughts and prayers through this hard time. But, please let me assure you that just on the other side of this world is a wonderful place called Heaven where there is no suffering, sorrow, or pain. Jesus Christ has a plan for each and every one of our lives, and although it may not be as clear as we would like for it to, it is always better than what we think, or can even grasp.
Mr.Scott was always a sweet, loving person who would face each day with courage. I remember all the times when Meredith and I would be over at your house playing with Gracie and Alex and Mr.Scott would rush in and make everyone laugh. His smile always lead others to know that he was a man of Christ. I know in my heart that he is rejoicing in Heaven right now, and shining down on you telling you that he has no burdens anymore. Please know that we love you and will be thinking about you more every day.

  14. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Although, remembering those times might be painful at first. In time, these memories may help you to heal rather than cause you to hurt. Realizing, that no matter how much we love another person, we cannot control his or her life, nor can we prevent “time and unforeseen occurrence” from befalling those we love ~ Ecclesiastes 9:11.

  15. To the Family of Clyde Scott Capps:

It is so painful to lose a loved one in death. But we know from reading the scriptures that this life is not all there is. The real life is yet to come. (1 Tim 6:19) When Jesus taught us to pray for God’s Kingdom to come in the Lord’s prayer (Matt 6:9,10), that Kingdom government is very near. Then death will be no more (Rev 21:3-5) )

  16. We both worked with Scott at Home Depot. We were always impressed by his dedication to his family and his work ethic. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
