To Connie’s family: Please accept my sincere condolences. Connie was such a gracious lady. We bowled on the Church Bowling League many years ago. She was a faithful member of Bent Creek Baptist Church and we had many good times together.
Ron & Tom, Your Mother was a special Lady & friend. Fond memories of living just up the road, going to Grassy Branch Baptist Church and being in her Sunday School Class, later seeing her at the bookstore. I think of all of you often when I drive past your house. Mother went home last Thanksgiving, so they are both in Heaven. May God comfort your hearts and may you be Blessed by others that have been blessed by your precious Mother. Love & Prayers
My dear friend, Connie. How I will miss you. Always such a delight to be around. always cheerful and full of grace and wisdom. Our many talks I will always treasure, our friendship I will always treasure. My heart aches for your family and good friends but we will see you again!! Yeah, we have that promise.
Connie Abrams was a great mentor, friend and boss from 1992 when I went to work for her until she retired and sold her bookstore in Forest City, NC. I will always be grateful that the Lord made our paths cross.
Connie was a dear friend to me and my family. She was such an inspiration to us, and we have many fond memories of being in church and community activities with her and her family. She was always on the ‘bright side’ of life, no matter what was happening. She dearly loved her family, and they loved her. She will be sorely missed.
Connie, You were such a blessing to me ,teaching my Sunday School Class at Grassy Branch Baptist Church, and leading our Girl’s Auxillary group, where you instilled a love of missions in us all. I learned more Bible from you than anyone, how to lead someone to Jesus, too, and your life was a Christian example. You blessed my family members as well. You will always be my spiritual Mom. See you later, by the river.
